Space

For our final marking period, my science classes will be learning about space. Our culminating project will be to create a 3D poster of our solar system. Students will be teamed up and will be assigned a planet. The project will include research, creation, and presentation. Students will be incorporating math standards in this project too when they create small scale ratios of the orbital distances of the various planets. Students will be measuring that orbit and marking it on the poster. Students will also be scaling the planet sizes and categorizing them.
